Overview
Found on the model 80 Type 1 and 2 motherboards. It supports 16 or 20MHz operation. It is similar to the Model 50/60 chipset. It differs in that the 50/60 includes an additional chip (72X7385 Bus controller). It would appear that instead, this chipset replaces that functionality with discrete logic and two Intel 8259-2 (Programmable Interrupt Controllers), in order to interface the the 386 CPU. This logic has not been investigated further.
