One or more revisions of this hardware component were recalled from the market because of certain reasons like defects (including major breaking ones), overheating, fire, or safety hazards. Users of said hardware component should take precaution while using it or even avoid using it altogether.

For the rev 6.3 board you need the Aptio4 AMI Firmware Update Utility (under docs/misc files) to update the BIOS.
1.) Put both the unpacked zip and the latest BST file on a USB flash drive
2.) In the BIOS you have to use the "Boot into UEFI shell" option
3.) Once in the shell change directory to thumb drive by typing: fs0:
3.5) To verify you're on the USB drive, typing this should show you the two files on the drive: ls
4.) Run command: AfuEfix64.efi P67CF706.BST /P /B /N /X
5.) Let it run, and when finished, exit uefi shell, type: exit
6.) Will throw you back in the original bios, select "Load Optimized Defaults" and then "Save Changes/exit" (F4)
7.) System will power cycle a few times on its own and then it's updated.
(F12 routine will not work and there's no DOS tool either)
