• Underpowered VRM

The onboard VRM may not provide sufficient power for certain processors or configurations.

This motherboard only supports processors with up to 95W TDP (Thermal Design Power). Processors with higher TDP will NOT operate on this motherboard. Processors with a 533MHz front bus may also not operate.

X6800, X6900

Core 2 Quad:
Q6600 [G0 stepping "SLACR" only], Q6700, Q8200, Q8200S, Q8300, Q8400, Q8400S, Q9300, Q9400, Q9400S, Q9450, Q9500, Q9505, Q9505S, Q9550, Q9550S, Q9650.

Core 2 Duo:
All models

Pentium Dual-Core ("Allendale", "Conroe" and "Wolfdale-3M"):
All models

Celeron Dual-Core ("Allendale" and "Wolfdale-3M"):
All models

Celeron ("Conroe-L" and "Conroe-CL"):
All models

Pentium D:
820, 915, 920, 925, 930, 935, 940 [C1 stepping "SL95W" only], 945, 950 [C1 and D0 steppings "SL95V" and "SL9K8" only], 960 [D0 stepping "SL9K7" only].

Pentium 4:
520, 520J, 521, 530, 530J, 531, 540, 540J, 541, 620, 630, 631, 640, 641, 650, 651, 661.

Other models and Celeron D processors are NOT supported.
