Notes:

  • Used in some Haswell (4th gen Core) based Casper Nirvana Desktop models (such as CD.VTI4570B). Check inside the chassis to determine your motherboard model.

  • Has VGA and DVI ports instead of VGA and HDMI as on retail variant.

  • The Casper OEM BIOS takes a bit too long to start booting (about 5 seconds, even with UEFI and fast boot enabled) and is also missing the option to enable the integrated graphics when a discrete graphics card is installed. It is also too old to support Haswell Refresh processors. Upgrading to the latest BIOS version from ECS fixes these issues.

NOTE: The latest ECS BIOS can only be flashed through a BIOS update for an already functional system, as it is not a complete ROM. If your BIOS is bricked and you need to recover it, please flash one of the 8 MB BIOS dumps instead. You can then update to the latest version once the system is functional.
