• ROM Corruption

• Chipset Fan Failure

This motherboard contains no sponge protection pad or only 2 points of securing of the chipset, Accidental force or nudging the heatsink durring instalation of other components can cause the chipset die to chip leading to failure of the motherboard

By default this board can not run Nvidia SLI but can be modded into a DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI by shorting 2 pads on the Nvidia NForce 4 Ultra chip this then turns the chip into an Nforce 4 SLI enabling the jumpers to be set and 8x SLI lanes to be now unlocked in the bios. Some early boards may come with an SLI bridge in the box (Will have the SLI logo on the top of the board) or already have the mod done from the factory. Nvidia was upset by this and ordered DFI to stop shipping SLI bridges and remove the SLI sticker from the motherboards, as you have to pay more for the SLI premium.
