Not a floppy controller in itself. This card was used in IBM PS/2 models with an onboard FDC, and serves to add support for an 5.25" 360KB floppy drive.

Requires passthrough connection from the planar (motherboard) FDC using the IBM-proprietary 40 pin card edge floppy connector.

The large DIP28 chip (90X7415) is a 27256 (32KB) compatible ROM for BIOS extension.
