Description:

The CMD PCI-649 is a standalone PCI to IDE/ATA controller originally sold by CMD Technologies before being acquired by Silicon Image technologies. The chip designed for efficient data transfer between a host system and IDE/ATA devices. It offers two independent IDE/ATA channels, each supporting up to two ATA/ATAPI devices, allowing a total of four devices.
