The CL-GD5480 is a high-performance, cost-effective VisualMedia solution that combines graphics, animation, better-than-TV quality full-screen video, and software 3D acceleration in an integrated single-chip device. The chip is part of the Cirrus Logic Alpine family and interfaces with high-speed SGRAM frame buffer.
