TEAC SuperQuad 4X

The CD55A SuperQuad 4X CD-ROM drive does not have a standard IDE interface.
This is the only TEAC desktop model with a proprietary interface.
The interface features a 40-pin connector, and it is usually found in Sound Blaster, SB compatible cards, and in the TEAC interface card included in the kit.
A standard IDE 40-pin connector interface cable can be used with the proprietary interface in the CD55A.

Minimum System Requirements:

486SX 20MHz or higher IBM or PC compatible
850KB of hard disk space available for driver installation
4MB RAM minimum
DOS 5.0 or higher
Windows 3.1x, and Windows 95
Available half-height bay
Available ISA slot for TEAC interface card
Or, Sound Blaster, or Sound Blaster compatible with a Panasonic interface
